There's some relief for rail passengers in Jodhpur, western Rajasthan. The North Western Railway has decided to resume the much-awaited Bhagat Ki Kothi-Jammu Tawi Express on its old, full route from April 1st. This train, which had been partially suspended for a long time, will now provide direct service from Jodhpur to Jammu.
Why Was This Train Stopped?
Last year, heavy rains in the Jammu division damaged rail infrastructure. A technical problem, particularly on a key bridge, forced the temporary cancellation of Train No. 14803/14804 between Pathankot and Jammu Tawi. This caused significant inconvenience to passengers, especially those on religious and business trips.

Railway officials stated that repair work between Kathua and Madhopur stations is almost complete. After safety inspections and necessary technical tests, the train has been approved to resume running on its full route.
According to the new arrangement, train number 14803 will depart from Jodhpur on April 1, while the return train number 14804 will run regularly from Jammu Tawi from April 2. For passenger convenience, advance reservations have also been initiated.
